We can’t wait to see everyone come to Macklin Field and enjoy our 23rd Annual Highland Games in Grande Prairie on Sunday, June 14, 2009.

It is our goal as a board to keep the Scottish culture alive and well in the Grande Prairie area and we feel that we are successful in doing this thanks to all of our numerous volunteers and sponsors.

We invite all dance, heavy events and sheep dog competitors to our highland games events. We wish you luck in achieving your personal bests during these games.

This years Highland Games will be June 14, 2009 at the Macklin Field (10117 93 St.)

The 22nd Annual Grande Prairie Highland Games was a huge success, in part to our fantasic volunteers, sponsors, competitors and spectators. Thank you for coming and supporting our Games. The weather was awesome for once and we all have the sun burns to prove it! We were excited to showcase a highland dance competition, sheep dog trials, pipeband performances, Scottish Athletics competition, a second stage featuring celtic entertainment, vendors, food and a “Wee Celts” area for the kids. A Big thank you to the Clan of the Day “Forbes”. Be sure to stay posted on what’s new for next year.
