Welcome!

We can’t wait to see everyone come to Macklin Field and enjoy our 24th Annual Highland Games in Grande Prairie on Sunday, June 13, 2010
Our Highland Dance entry form will be available for download here at the website the first week of April.

It is our goal as a board to keep the Scottish culture alive and well in the Grande Prairie area and we feel that we are successful in doing this thanks to all of our numerous volunteers and sponsors.

We invite all dance, heavy events and sheep dog competitors to our highland games events. We wish you luck in achieving your personal bests during these games.

See you next year at our 25th Annual Highland Games June 2011 at the Macklin Field (10117 93 St.)

The 24th Annual Grande Prairie Highland Games was a huge success, in part to our fantasic volunteers, sponsors, competitors and spectators. Thank you so much to those volunteers who helped with the set up of the field and with the take down after the event.
Thank you for coming and supporting our Games. The weather was somewhat unpredictable, but we pushed through and ended up with a beautiful afternoon. We were excited to showcase a highland dance competition, sheep dog trials, pipeband performances, Scottish Athletics competition – men’s and women’s, a second stage featuring celtic entertainment and our Scottish and non-Scottish vendors. Thank you to Clan MacNeil for all your support!
If you wish to purchase pictures of the days events, please go to www.mysnappyphotos.com for details. We hope to see you next year!
